The Season is Over

Dear Blog,

The season is over. Sad. :( Now I don't know when I will ever see Laurie again because I'm going to Florida next semester!

But during rehearsal on for the Motor City Bowl, a few funny things happened as usual.
One example, I called Laurie a tool. But in reality, I was just trying to say she was useful and helpful.

Anyway, it's New Years Eve! However, it looks like this blog is dead.

Too bad Laurie never knew the password, it's a great password. :)

Motor City Bowl

Well, Blog,

I knew we were going to a bowl game, but no one said the Motor City Bowl. Do you know what I would like to call that? Bull shit!!! I mean, I understand we're awesome, but we need to spread our awesomeness somewhere else. Arn't they sick of us yet? Really?

At least Laurie will be there. That will make everything better. :)

Dear Blog:
I must admit, I miss marching band a little bit. I don't know what I am going to do next semester. Who will pretend to act gangsta for me? Who will I hear complaining all of the time instead of Laurie? I don't know what I will do. And then Steph is going to Disney World. I'm jealous. She better fricken keep in touch, dammit. I keep wondering what marching band does for finals? Or do we just not have finals? AHH!!! Oh well. I hope we go to a bowl game now. It would be kind of cool. Would we have to pay for it? I feel like I don't know anything!
Well, since I am in class, I should probably begin paying attention.

Anyway, I'm talking to Laurie online right now. She's "working" right now. But really, she's only done 4 minutes of work in the past hour. lol.

I feel ignored. I IMed Laurie and she didn't respond. Then she responded while I was away and won't respond again. Is this a sign?! Could Laurie possibly not like me?!

She did cancel lunch on me, too, though.

DRUGS

Dear Blog:

Today Nick was a drug dealer. Although not an illegal one, he did offer us Ibuprofen, and Laurie eagerly accepted. So, in effect, Laurie succumbed to the drug dealings. However, I accepted the Ibuprofen also, since my arms and wrists were being thoroughly abused by the cumbersome metal plates that we call 'instruments'.
Furthermore, it was FRICKEN COLD today. My toes were all like, "Umm, let's not wear these shoes anymore? kthx." It was a WONDERFUL experience.

But now I'm beginning to pull a Laurie by complaining so much, so I'm going to go on Facebook.

So....Last night at Band-O-Rama, Laurie gave this great look that I can't even describe to someone at the drum line table as we were getting ready to show each other card tricks and it just made me giggle inside! It was great!

Wii Music

Dear Blog,

Tonight some people came over to play Wii Music. It was pretty nifty. Steven, Hil, Ben, and Matt are all fun characters. Anyway, there's a pitch perfect game where different Miis come up and play notes and you have to guess which one is incorecct or which one is playing the same pitch as the speaker and different stuff like that. Most of the time, Laurie was the one that was picked. lol. It was a lot of fun. We would all yell "LAURIE!!!!" Oh, good times.

I get to see Laurie on Monday! Yay!

Yesterday Laurie was upset, and it made me sad. I don't know what's going on, but I hope it wasn't because I was late to sectional.

Anyway, I still love Laurie, I just hope she knows how many people care about her. I hope she knows that there are a lot of people here for her if she needs anything. Just give us a call. :)

Happy November!!!

It's Monday, and that means I get to see Laurie today. It makes me happy.

I did see her momentarily at Liz's birthday party, but she was asleep for most of it. I'm not sure how she managed to stay asleep, because there was a lot of noise...I certainly wouldn't have been able to...

Anyway, I get to register for classes in about ten minutes, so I ought to go.

Lunch

Today was a fabulous day. I got to see Laurie TWICE!!!

First, we had lunch together at Fresh at noon. We bonded, and it was good times. She was a bit crazy, but that's the definition of Laurie.

At rehearsal, Annie forgot to bring her cake. Epic fail=Annie.

Nick bothered me a lot today.

Jelina ran into me.

Drew and I decided to go on a date tomorrow.

Laurie's Language

Dear Blog,

Thursday I brought cake for Laurie because I'm just that awesome. It made her very happy, in conclusion, I was very happy.

Then we found out that we had sub sectionals and I quote:

"Fuck it." - Laurie

It was pretty fantastical.

So we bonded sectionally.

I tried to call Laurie yesterday, and she didn't pick up. No love.

Wow, too long of post. I GET TO SEE LAURIE TOMORROW!!! YAY!!!

Dear Interblags,

I'm at home today...I miss Laurie. I didn't get to see her during rehearsal today, since it was canceled, and I don't get to see her at the game tomorrow, either, because I don't think she's going to be there. It makes me sad that I won't see her dancing.

Steph had some interesting things to say about Laurie this week, but I'll let her talk about that.

Laurie danced like a gangsta on saturday again. It was fabulous again. Unfortunately, Steph wasn't there to see it. :-( I hope she feels better soon, but I should digress, since this blog is in fact about Laurie.

Sad Laurie

Dear Blog,

It makes me sad when Laurie is sad/mad at rehearsal. I may or may not start bringing a cookie, brownie, or a piece of cake to rehearsal everyday for her. If that would make her happy Laurie, I totally would.

The one happy day she had was awesome, but was totally weird. But now that grumpy Laurie is back, I would like to see happy Laurie again.

What should I do?

The Absence of Laurie

Dear Blog,
Laurie is not here right now. It makes me very sad, even though I should be scared of her. The other day she threatened to cut me. Also, she and Germany talk about inappropriate things and it makes me feel like I need an adult. But I still love her.

Also, Laurie dances like a gangsta in the stands.

-She's only got THE best laugh among anyone I know.
-She someday wants to take us to her hometown in Wuhsconsin, don't ya know, ROAD TRIP!
-Liz and I had a blasty blast with her in Kentuckadee (that's how she said it, not me)
-Ultimately, she's the greatest peppy zombie in the thriller dance.

Tonight was a lot of fun. We learned a lot about Laurie that we may or may not want to know.

Laurie requested Annie and Stephanie to take her pants off in the cymbal mom van.
Laurie whined again.
